Ground Beef Pasta Casserole Recipe

1 lb. ground beef
1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
2 cups water
2 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until browned. Drain.
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, basil, onion powder, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and cover, allowing mixture to simmer for 10 minutes.
Add uncooked macaroni and stir well.
Pour mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish and cover with foil.
Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
Remove foil and sprinkle cheese on top. Return to oven (sans foil) and bake until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Add pasta sauce, tomatoes, oregano, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir well and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain.
Add cooked pasta to beef mixture and stir well.
Pour mixture into baking dish.
Sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
